Best Practices
Use Expo Go for best results
It's recommended to scan the QR code and run the app via Expo Go. Reload often. This is usually more reliable than the web preview, which can sometimes be out of date or behave differently.
Reload after making changes
After making changes, reload the preview either by pressing the "Reload Preview" button to the right of the preview phone, or by shaking your phone and clicking reload if using Expo Go.
Refresh this page every now and then
Sometimes the connection between this website and the servers can get lost. If you have been away from the website for a while, or are having issues with the stream, try reloading this website to get the latest state of the app and a fresh connection.
Common Issues
The agent isn't solving my issues
Have you tried 1. Reloading the preview and 2. Running the app via Expo Go and shaking the phone and clicking reload? Sometimes the code is updated but the preview is not.
The agent is going around in circles.
Sometimes the agent can forget what it has done previously. If you explain more about what it already tried and what didn't work, it will have better odds at solving the issue.
The agent is struggling with an integration
We provide documentation for the agent for many integrations. If we don't have it, the agent can struggle. Please copy and paste the exact API specification for the service you wish to integrate into the prompt. It is recommended to implement external integrations after first connecting to Supabase, and then prompting the agent to implement the new integration via Supabase. Although this is not strictly required.
Supabase & Backend
Supabase Connection.
For the Supabase status, go to the More menu in the top right corner and click "Supabase". After you have successfully connected to a Supabase project, you can prompt the AI to implement whatever backend functionality you want.
Agent isn't solving my backend issues.
The agent can only see some of the logs from Supabase. If you're experiencing database or backend issues, it's recommended to go inside of Supabase and check the logs there. Copy and paste the logs into your next prompt to help fix any issues.
